With over two decades of experience in business management, marketing, and communications, Chris has a proven track record of building profitable ventures and guiding investors toward high-performing opportunities. His career includes 20+ years of running advertising agencies before leading the marketing and international relations efforts for MJBizCon, the world’s largest B2B cannabis conference, where he helped achieve record-breaking growth. He also served as CEO of Gateway Proven Strategies, a multinational consulting firm dedicated to fostering sustainable, responsible, and lucrative cannabis markets worldwide.
Chris then co-founded the GCNC and works to drive knowledge share, deal flow and top-to-top business connectivity worldwide. Chris now uses his passion for connecting skilled and knowledgeable people into helping create profitable, high-performing companies.
A graduate of Colorado State University, Chris is a dual resident of Colorado and Quintana Roo, Mexico. While his roots are in the United States, his global perspective stems from years of international travel and market exploration. Chris spends most of his time working remotely while traveling around the world to expand the global cannabis eco-system and to satisfy his wanderlust.

A writer and award-winning communications strategist, her career includes over a decade of communications in higher education and research-focused non-profits and community development, before shifting to B2B content marketing, event strategy and networking for the global cannabis industry.
She worked with Marijuana Business Daily on MJBizCon to establish it as the global leader in industry connectivity, resulting in the world's largest B2B cannabis trade show. Jill launched their global partnership program, two podcasts, and an innovative multimedia site.
In addition to her corporate strategy work, Jill focuses on mentorship and community management to empower current and aspiring leaders. She co-launched a digital story-telling platform focused on women’s social issues and has worked with a variety of print and digital news organizations.
